Nestled at the base of Short Hill Mountain, the initial foothill of the Blue Ridge Mountains is Stone Manor Boutique Inn. Stone Manor is a romantic getaway in Virginia’s wine country surrounded by fifty different award-winning wineries.  It is a romantic country get-away where one can hike, cycle, kayak or, for the more adventurous, zip-line along the Shenandoah River. With rolling hills and beautiful countryside, one can not find a more idyllic setting for that special get-away.

Stone Manor is also ideally located for Civil War excursions since it is midway between the Gettysburg and Bull Run battlefields.  It is only fifteen minutes from Harpers Ferry, the site of John Brown’s raid that was the precursor to the Civil War.  Antietam Battlefield is less than half an hour away, and Frederick, Maryland, the home of the Museum for Civil War Medicine and the Barbara Fritchie House is twenty minutes.  Your hosts can arrange for a driver and/or guide upon request.

Stone Manor has seven suites, each with en suite bathrooms; many with jetted tubs and ten-spray shower rooms.  All rooms are equipped with queen or king-size beds, flat screen TVs and DVD/ Blu-ray Players.  Some rooms have fireplaces.  There is an extensive library in the Manor, a game room, a DVD/ Blu-ray library and a wine-tasting room.  There is complimentary WiFi throughout the Inn.

Your hosts prepare a six-course gourmet breakfast each morning customized to individual dietary requirements or tastes, which include fresh produce and home-baked goods.  You will also be asked your essential oil preferences between lavender, sweet orange, coconut-lime verbena or sandlewood as your hosts custom-craft your suite’s soap products.

Stone Manor hosts weddings and other special events like rehearsal dinners and family reunions.  It has been recognized in Virginia Living magazine as the top weekend wedding get-away for Northern Virginia for the past four consecutive years.  Stone Manor has also been voted the favorite B&B in Virginia in Virginia Wine Lovers magazine, and receives annual Trip Advisor Certificates of Excellence for exceptional service and care for our guests.
