Welcome to Maysville Manor B&B. The beautiful 6,000 square foot manor house was built in 1815 and is nestled on a 250-acre hay and timber farm. It is included in the quaint and historic village of Buckingham, formerly called Maysville. The interior is tastefully appointed with antique furniture that is primarily federal in style. Six elegantly appointed bedrooms and three bathrooms with modern amenities span the manor. Maysville Manor’s external features such as a large porch, garden cottage, and a white gazebo overlooking a private pond and hay fields. These grounds provide a picturesque romantic setting and are great for a wedding or other outdoor events.  The Manor has a full kitchen.  A swimming pool and pavilion area are available. 

Cottage: Adjoining the Manor house is a fully furnished private apartment unit with kitchen, T.V. and living area, two bedrooms, private bath room, and private balcony.  The master bedroom has a queen size bed and the second smaller bedroom has two single beds.

For those that love to tee-off, the Manor Golf Course in Farmville or Falling River in Appomattox are each only thirty minutes away. Guests that love history will appreciate the only twenty five minute drive to the Civil War Surrender Grounds are in Appomattox. Those that come for the outdoors can experience it comfortably in the many parks that are within thirty minutes of The Manor, which include James River State Park, Holiday Lake State Park and Bear Creek State Park. If you are visiting in order to spend time with a college aged child, Longwood and Hampden-Sydney College are both less than half an hour away, and Liberty University and University of Virginia are approximately 50 minutes away.
