Drive-Through Christmas Light Shows - Virginia Holiday Lights
2020-11-24 14:55:12The holiday season is officially here. Nothing makes that more evident - or welcome - than all the bright and cheery holiday light displays. It's great fun to go out and see all the festive lights and Virginia is home to lots of drive-through Christmas light shows.
2020 has been one heck of a challenging year and we could all use a little pick-me-up. Safety restrictions have seen major changes and even the canceling of many favorite holiday traditions. One popular holiday pastime, however, seemed designed for our current situation: drive-through Christmas light shows!
Drive-through Christmas light shows are a great way to get out and raise your holiday spirits. They're typically elaborate and impressive with thousands of lights worked into festive objects, characters, and scenes. Some displays even include animation and many offer a special music channel you can dial in on your car radio as you pass through.
Perhaps best of all, there's usually no reason to leave the warmth and safety of your own car as you enjoy the show. Drive-thru holiday lights were providing social distancing before any of us even knew what that meant!
Below is a short list of some of the bigger, more popular 2020 Christmas light shows in Virginia.

Virginia For The Holidays
No matter what brings you to Virginia - or even when - you'll rest assured with accommodations at a Virginia bed and breakfast.
Why choose a Virginia B&B over a hotel or motel? The answer is quite simple: true hospitality. You'll never get the kind of honest, personal, and caring attention at a hotel or motel that a Virginia inn provides.
Best of all, most Virginia innkeepers are long time locals. This means that, beyond the top tier amenities, incredibly comfy rooms, and delicious breakfasts you can expect at a Virginia B&B, you'll also have an inside line what to do and see in the area. Priceless.
