This year's festival features over 70 national and regional music acts. These include The String Cheese Incident, Phil Lesh & The Terrapin Family Band, Kacey Musgraves, Brandi Carlile, and Tyler Childers!
FloydFest is one of those events that just seems to get bigger and better with each passing year.
What started off in 2002 with just 6 bands has expanded into what many consider Virginia's premier outdoor music event with 9 different stages!
The event now regularly attracts some of the best bands on the summer touring circuit - both national and regional acts. FloydFest also includes a good selection of up-and-coming bands, making it a great place to discover new talent.

Not Just Music
FloydFest is much more than just a music festival.
The festival, which is held on 80 acres just off the Blue Ridge Parkway, also promotes getting out into Virginia’s outdoors. Attendees can enjoy kayaking, hiking, mountain biking, and even disc golf courses throughout the festival grounds.
You'll also be able to get some shopping in at the “Global Village” where more than 100 artisans will offer their handcrafted wares. You'll also be able to sate that appetite with a variety of offering, from sushi, to burgers, to barbecue.
Not a passive consumer, you say? Excellent! The Global Village also offers opportunities to learn new skills via workshops and demonstrations.
