StayVA Cooking Contest Congratulates Chef Jim McCullough

We recently held our annual hospitality conference at the Stonewall Jackson Hotel in Staunton, VA. And, as always, one of the attendees’ favorite activities was our cooking contest. This year’s contest focused on local influence and local ingredients. That meant these recipes fresh and delicious. But they also reflect the heart of Virginia’s “Buy Local” movement. Take a look at a couple of the amazing recipes that were prepared for the contest: Greens, Eggs, and Ham by Chef Rachel from Waypoint House B&B- What a perfect combination of seasonings! Spinach and kale, eggs, and Canadian bacon sit on top of an English muffin. Serve with Sweet Potato Hash, and you have one incredibly satisfying breakfast!
