When you think “Spring Break,” you usually picture rowdy college kids, crowded beaches, and out-of-the-country getaways. Virginia probably isn’t the first destination that comes to mind as you’re planning our Spring Break vacation, but we’re here to tell you that is should be! Here are 4 fun Virginia activities to help you welcome in springtime:
  1. Spring Break at King’s Dominion- What sounds better than Spring Break at an amusement park? King’s Dominion is known for its roller coasters like the Anaconda, the Berserker, and the Shock Wave, as well as its live entertainment. “The park will be open April 6-10 for the most thrilling Spring Break in the Mid-Atlantic” (kingsdominion.com). (Nearby lodging: Shady Acres Bed & Breakfast, Grace Manor Inn, Museum District B&B.)
  2. Virginia Beach- When you picture Spring Break, there’s usually water involved, so how about a popular East Coast beach destination? At night, explore comedy clubs, night clubs, and then rest easy at a nearby InnVirginia B&B. (Nearby lodging: Page House Inn, Barclay Cottage Bed & Breakfast, Beach Spa Bed & Breakfast.)
