If you haven’t guessed from the red and orange décor, the pumpkin spice lattes, and the emerging chill in the air, fall has arrived. Our Inn Virginia members have some of the best autumn views, and we’ve pulled together a lodging list of inns that you’ll definitely want to visit this season:
Snowdonia on the James- Immerse yourself in autumn at this Scottsville cottage. Walk the banks of the James River and pause for a photo op in the Riverbluff Gazebo. Snowdonia’s Eryri Cottage is nestled in the forests, which means that fall views will be right outside your window.
Inn at Gristmill Square- This rustic yet elegant B&B features a “prime location deep within the ancient mountains of the George Washington National Forest in the Allegheny Highlands. Lush forests, quiet back roads, and ancient mineral springs.”
Mayneview B&B- This Inn Virginia member is located “in the heart of Virginia's lush Shenandoah Valley” and “nestled between the Shenandoah National Park and the George Washington National Forest.” You know what that means—a wooded escape with mountain views.
Ginger Hill B&B- This B&B is a “country home, located on fourteen and a half secluded, wooded acres in Central Virginia.” These trees are awaiting your autumn arrival.
Inn on Town Creek- This beautiful B&B offers two creeks, “landscaped with the rock gardens, tiered brick walls, patios, rhododendrons, dog woods, pines and dawn redwoods which add to the tranquility.” Sounds like a fall paradise, doesn’t it?
