As we all know, Virginia is chock full of history. From Jamestown to Monticello to Chincoteague, the Commonwealth is rich with the past, offering museums, re-enactments, guided tours, preservations, and restorations. One such place that delights the history buff in us all is Williamsburg with its colonial historic and its inclusion in the Historic Triangle along with Jamestown and Yorktown. Tour the Mariners’ Museum, the Sherwood Forest Plantation, or the Virginia Living Museum. Step through time at Jamestown Settlement, Yorktown Battlefield, or the Yorktown Victory Center.
Williamsburg isn’t all history, however, and you’ll find plenty of other activities as well. Spend a day at the ever-popular theme park Busch Gardens or Water Country USA. Take a boat out with Yorktown Sailing Charters or sip your way through Williamsburg Winery.
Once you’re worn out from a day of discovery, you’ll need a place to rest and recharge for another day, and that’s where Inn Virginia comes in. We have some of the best places to stay in Williamsurg, and they’re just waiting for your arrival:
