The Bed and Breakfast Association of Virginia welcomes Braehead Manor, Fredericksburg, VA, to its list of inspected and approved B&Bs. Originally built in 1859, this historic manor house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2000, and developed into a B&B by current innkeepers, Warren and Karen Bane, in 2011. This only describes a small fraction of the manor’s unique and longstanding history as it became a popular spot during the Civil War and stands within the limits of the Fredericksburg Battlefield National Park.
