Historic Garden Week in Virginia, 2012

"For one week every April, the Garden Club of Virginia invites visitors to more than 250 of Virginia's most picturesque gardens and private homes in the Old Dominion" (Garden Club of Virginia).
There is no event quite like Historic Garden Week, as it celebrates both the vibrancy and history of the natural world encompassed by man-made gardens. During the week of April 21-28, 2012, indulge yourself in the sights and sounds of a floral adventure in the beautiful Commonwealth. (And don’t forget that there are many nearby BBAV inns to which you can return after your tour!)
